Ramadan is the Islamic holy month of fasting. During that month, all the moslem people abstain from all food and drink during daylight hours. They break their fast with the evening iftar meal. The iftar (breaking of the fast) is a particularly significant time when colleagues and friends come together to share a meal after a day of fasting. Iftar is a much-anticipated moment every day of Ramadan. As the Maghrib call to prayer rings out, Muslims gather together to break their fast with a light meal called “iftar”.
To celebrate Ramadan at work, PT Vallianz Offshore Maritim Jakarta conducted iftar dinner on Monday, 1 April 2024 at Capital Place, 39th floor. This event purpose was to share the joy and happiness of Ramadan also strengthen the relationship among employees. Allowing our Muslim employees to break their fast with their colleagues can create a sense of community and deepen relationships among team members. These gatherings provide an opportunity for colleagues to share in the observance of Ramadan and enhance understanding and respect for different cultural and religious practices Hopefully this togetherness will bring a blessing to all of us.
